Industry Update:  25% Tariff on June 15 List of Chinese Products

As Issues related to tariffs on Chinese made products continue to evolve we will continue to provide updated information. On August 7, 2018 The Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) finalized a list of $16 billion in Chinese products that will be subject to an additional 25% tariff. The USTR statement can be viewed in its entirety at the link below.

For your reference, this USTR announcement is referring to the second tranche or subset of the list of 284 products originally released on June 15th and contains 279 products. The list can be viewed HERE. Please note that Customs and Border Protection will begin to collect the additional duties on the Chinese imports on August 23, 2018.
